Many prayer needed as fighting has resumed in Sudan. Southern Sudan has declared it’s independence following a nationwide vote on secession, and the North has responded with violence. There are rumors of genocide and involvement by the LRA as well. Please pray that the Lord would move in amazing ways, as I’m not really sure even where to begin in requesting prayer for this broken nation.

Brothers and sisters, I have a time-sensitive prayer request. My church works with refugee families in a variety of ways. The main way is to provide them with whatever help they can, as well as to be a church for them. One of the girls from the refugee family is very sick. She’s very young and speaks very little English. She’s either in first grade or in Kindergarten. I don’t know what she’s sick with, but yesterday the doctors drained fluid from her brain. The doctors are very pessimistic about her chances of living. I don’t know if it’s in God’s plan for her to live, but if you could please keep her and her family in your prayers, that’d be great.
Please pray for my dad, who just found out he lost his full time teaching position at a high school (next school yr) due to budget cuts, and who also might have skin cancer. Hope, healing, peace. Also, please pray for my mom- that Jesus would encounter her and reach her where I cannot. Lastly, that I would not make serious decisions to simply please or obey my parents, but that I would hear God’s voice and follow boldly.
So today, and yesterday, I heard that saddest, most perverse thing ever. I stumbled across this Youtube channel that was trying to convince people that God was/is evil. In fact, I heard the most perverse…. perversion of the Gospel I’d ever heard. My heart just broke for these people and for the people who visit this channel. This person claimed that God was evil because He knew we would fall and would be unable to not sin and would still choose to punish us. That He only died to give us a sense of hope so that we would serve Him. He would give us life “just long enough to appreciate love and pleasure, only to take it away upon death.” I assure anyone who is unsure and anyone who believes this that that is a perversion of God’s will and what He has said He has done for us. This person is comparing God to Hitler, to Charles Manson, etc Yes, I am broken, and I admit that. But it kills me to know that some people have been tricked into thinking that God— who is so loving, generous, and forgiving— is evil. If you’re reading this, please take even just two seconds to pray for people who use youtube and pervert Bible scriptures to trick people into believing lies about God.
Hey guys! Please please please be praying for Fee’s brother, Scott!!
He is in Afghanistan right now, and his troop received word that the
Taliban is supposed to come and attack them tonight and for the next
three days. Please be praying hard for God to protect him and his
troop!! We need to intercede and stand in the gap for Scott, Fee, and
their entire family. Thank you! Please feel free to forward this on or
ask other prayer warriors to pray for them as well! Thank you so much.
We are trusting that God and His army of angels will hide them beneath the shadow of His wing. He belongs to Jesus, and God has the final say no matter what. Love you all!
Pray for the deadly Tornado that passed through Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, and Tennessee and the many people affected. There was severe structural damage and many people died.

Hopefully everyone know about the Tornado that passed through. Unfortunately, Shaw University, a historically black college located in Raleigh was hit badly by the storm. There have been both reports of serious injuries and structural damage. Please keep them in your prayers. (Also, if you have a car and would be willing to drive people up there to help them, it would be great if you could serve that way as well).
Open Door is such a new, exciting event that I feel will greatly reach out to non-Christians on our campus. It would be wonderful to see this event recur annually and to grow in the process so that most people on campus have at least heard of it. I would like to request for prayer that God will help this event to really touch people and to start a dialogue between Christians and non-Christians on campus to clear up any misunderstandings about Christians or Christianity. I would also like prayer for the people running this event and the people writing for and/or acting in Open Door so that they will have courage, clarity, and wisdom.
Pray that people making decisions about leadership make the right choice and that they follow God’s will and listen to His plans for them. I’m having a really hard time deciding what to do about IV leadership not because I don’t think I’m capable but because of time. I’m worried that I won’t have enough time to dedicate myself fully to leadership and I don’t want that to happen, so I’m trying to listen to what God has to say. Also, I’m trying to accept the fact that it’s okay not to know what I want to do in my life…that it’s all in God’s hands and He knows what’s best.
